Ipsy July 2016 Unboxing

Ipsy July 2016 Bag

The Bag:

OMG...can I say hooolllllooooo!!! I have to say that I am a boarderline holosexual...I absolutely love this bag! It’s my favorite so far. I love the holo-rainbow bag with the little umbrellas all over it.

The Products:

Ipsy July 2016 Bag Luxie

I got another brush! I’ve been loving getting the brushes. I haven’t used all of them yet, but brushes are typically so expensive and you can never had too many.

This brush is a Luxie Rose Gold Small Angled Brush 215. Apparently the brand is coated with some kind of solution that prevents bacteria buildup to help it be hypoallergenic.

The brush is a smaller angled brush (hence the name Small Angled Brush…). It looks like it will be perfect for eyeliner or filling in eyebrows. I haven’t used it yet, but I do have Luxie’s Flat Definer Brush 221 in rose gold and I love it.

BTW, this brush is $10...which is the price of the box and you get a code for 30% off at Luxie’s website.

Ipsy July 2016 Bag Banana Powder

Another product that I’m excited about is the BellaPierre Cosmetics Banana Setting Powder. I’ve always wanted to try Banana Powder by Ben Nye, but I just haven’t bought any. I have tried ELF’s yellow toned powder, but I feel like it is waaaayyyy too yellow for my lighter complexion. It may work for darker skin tones though. However, ipsy’s website states that this works for all skin tones from fair to dark. It also states that it hides dark circles and illuminates.

The size of the Banana Powder in the bag is 4 grams...which is apparently the full size product...at least according to the website. The website also states that the powder costs $35.

About a week or two before I actually got the bag, I got an email stating that I was going to get either a Too Faced Hangover Rx Primer, Benefit Kabrow (which I’m not going to lie, is the one I hoped to get), Makeup Forever’s Excessive Lash mascara, a Bare Mineral’s lipstick, or a blush from theBalm.

Ipsy July 2016 Bag Too Faced

Well, I got Too Faced Hangover Rx Primer.

Apparently it is a replenishing primer that is supposed to make you look like you’ve had a full nights sleep….since it’s 2:50 AM right now and I CAN’T FREAKIN GO TO SLEEP maybe I’ll trying it when I go to work in 5 hours…..I’ll let you know how it goes….

It’s a sample size at 0.16 oz. The regular size of the product is 1.35 oz for $35. There is also a travel size that is 0.68 oz for $15.

Ipsy July 2016 Bag Be Fine

Soooo I received another face moisturizer...I’m actually okay with this one though/I’m okay with trying it.

It is by BeFine Food Skin Care. It is the night cream. The bottle states that the night cream has cocoa, millet , and rice bran. It also states that it is allergen free, fragrance free, and paraben free. According to ipsy’s website, it “recharges your skin while you sleep”. It also has natural estrogen that helps to reduce wrinkles and improve circulation.

When trying it on the back of my hand, it feels like it goes on really smoothly, it doesn’t feel overly thick in any way. The smell isn’t overly strong in any way. It honestly just smells like lotion with a hint of cocoa scent.

The size in the bag is a fl oz. I couldn’t find the exact bottle on their website, but the one that I did find on their website was 1.7 oz for $30.

Ipsy July 2016 Bag OFRA

Last, but not least, is an OFRA cosmetics lip liner in Silk. It’s a pretty nude pink color...the website describes it as ballet slipper pink.

Ipsy July 2016 Bag OFRA Swatch

One thing that I like about lip liners is that you can use them to fill in your lips with it, so technically it can double as a matte lipstick...or more creamy if you throw some lip balm or lip gloss over it. The lip liner is supposed to be long lasting and drink proof.

This is also a full size product. This lip liner is $13…

Overall, this bag has been my FAVORITE bag so far. I love the bag and I’m excited about the products. This bag totaled around $80 with me estimating the price of the sample size of primer and the night moisturizer...which isn’t bad considering I paid $10.

Last Month's Bag:

I also wanted to mention my favorite products from last month's ipsy bag. I'm just

My Favorites

#1 favorite product was the Urban Decay's Fireball Eyeshadow
#2 The Happy Hibiscus Blush by Seraphine Botanicals
#3 The Beach Spray for your hair by Marc Anthony

I redid the quiz they give you this month, so maybe I’ll get some different products next month.

Again, I paid for my bag, my blog is still very small, so I was definitely not sponsored...ipsy almost 100% definitely does not know who I am. With that being said, I’m putting a referral link on here. If you want to sign up for ipsy, and you want to use my referral link, that would be  awesome. In full disclosure, it will give me like 250 points, which I can use towards “purchasing” products off of ipsy’s website.

Thanks so much for reading!!!

XOXO,
Kathy
