In my opinion, eyebrows are one of the most important features of the face. How your eyebrows look can completely change your look.
Usually I try to keep them up....however, because I like to keep my eyebrows very natural and thick, they can become unruly very quickly. I never, ever go to a salon to get my eyebrows done. I have seen too many bad eyebrows...I hate the type of eyebrows that are half of what they should be. It scares me when I think of going to a salon and people have crazy eyebrows...I do not feel comfortable going to someone who have bad eyebrows themselves...So I just do them myself.
Horrible!
Here is what I used:
Tweezers
A straight edge for guidance (picture to follow)
Scissors (I know...say what?!?!)
Benefit Brow Shaping Kit (any brow shaping kit would do)
NYX Push Up Bra For Your Eyebrows (any highlighter)
When I first started shaping my eyebrows I searched the web for the perfect image for my eyebrows. Luckily shaping my own eyebrows gives me the power to change them to what I want.
My eyebrow guide
Using this guide I plucked where the line crossed over. One good way to see this is to take a straight edge like a thin make up brush and mark with a different color eyeliner or even lip liner.
After that I brushed up my eyebrows. I just used my fingers, but you can use an eyebrow brush or an old mascara wand. I then trimmed my eyebrows with a pair of scissors. The best thing to use is a small mustache brush, but I couldn't find mine, so I had to use my fabric scissors. It may look scary, but trust me, just snip the long pieces of hair that are sticking up past the others.
Lastly, using the Push Up Bra for Your Eyebrows!
Blend in and you're done!!!
The last two parts I normally do last in my makeup routine. I don't always use the eyebrow shaping kit, but I almost always use the eyebrow highlighter.
