My Biggest Pet Peeve

What's my biggest pet peeve?

People testing out makeup in the makeup section at stores....or at least people opening the product and then smearing it everywhere.  The people at the stores can't/don't keep an eye on the product enough, and parents let their children run rampant and do whatever.

People please quit testing makeup products in the store.  Did you know that you can bring back makeup that doesn't work for you?  Just keep the receipt! If the color is too dark or too light, or if the lipstick isn't the right shade of red....just take it back!

And please, please, please keep your children out of the eye shadows!

These are a few pictures from one of the Walmarts where I live....it's ridiculous.  And just to get it straight, people do it at other places too...it's just always really bad at almost every Walmart I have been too!!!

Someone has opened this...Look at all the smudges on the container....Also, look at the extremely disheveled shelves in the background....all of the shelves were like that...especially in that section

This is the reason I was in the makeup section.  I wanted to try Maybelline's Fit Me foundation stick.  The middle part is supposed to make you shine free.  It's an anti-shine powder core.  However, you can see that someone decided to try it out....

See, again, there is supposed to be the anti-shine core...someone has tried it out to see if it's a color match...
The problem with these two products is that apparently a lot of people wanted to try them because there wasn't many (some times any) of each color.  All but one of the ones left were unopened.

An opened lip product

This is a mousse foundation...I actually really like this foundation...luckily this isn't what I was there for because I wouldn't have been able to get this either.
Someone has opened the eyeliner and  they have stolen the applicator out of it.....
None of this is like people are opening a lipstick and looking at the color...people are opening the lipstick and the destroying it.  Sticking finger nails in powders and foundations.  Breaking up blushes.  Or even using the lipsticks, eye shadows, blushes, and foundations as crayons.

Please, people who work in the stores, watch these people! It's costing your companies a lot of money...makeup is not cheap!  And people, please stop testing them....just keep your receipt and if it doesn't work, then bring it back.  I know it's annoying, but it saves people stress and companies money, which in turn will help keep prices for the customer down.

XOXO
Kat

PS: This isn't the only store I've had this problem with.  It happens in drugstores and even makeup stores too....
