In A Rut



I think my last two posts have been about weight loss. When it comes to weight loss there are a lot of things that can come between you and your weight loss.  One thing that can happen is that you can get in a rut.  It doesn't matter if it's food wise or exercise wise....so what has happened to me?  I have gotten into an exercise rut. Last week I only exercised only three times a week.  This week only once so far....Luckily I still have three days left. 

Thank God I still lost weight! I FINALLY hit my second mini-goal of losing 15% of my body weight from 221.  Tuesday I weighted in at 188!!! That is 47 pounds total, 4.8 pounds this month, and I've already reached my monthly goal! That in itself means something, but I still need to start working out again. 

I absolutely have to start back working out regularly again.  So today I sucked it up and worked out.  I did a 55 minute workout from the video regime that I have been using.  The thing is, I'm still kind of bored with it.  I have got to do something! I need to reach my goal of 135! 

So what am I going to do about it?  Well, first of all, right after dinner tonight I started researching on Pinterest and just Google about different workouts for your ass and your legs.  These are some things that I need to really work on.  I also researched burpees...even though I hate, hate, hate them!  I found some really good things for both legs and ass.  I also found a 30 day burpee challenge.  I may have to try it...We'll see how I feel about that one....

I plan on doing these while I catch up on my TV shows :)  Wish me luck on shaking up my workout routine!!!
