My Favorites!

So I watch TONS of Youtube videos.  A lot of them are about makeup, and a lot of the people who do makeup tutorials will do videos on their favorite products at the time.  So I decided to do a list of my favorite products. These products are just scratching the surface of everything I love...

1. Benefit's Erase Paste
I absolutely love Benefit.  They're kind of expensive, but they last for freaking ever! Their Erase Paste concealer is the best concealer that I've ever used.  Now I haven't tried much that wasn't over the counter, but this was definitely worth the $28. I've had it for over 2 years now and even though they say you aren't supposed to keep makeup that long it still goes on ultra smooth and gives you awesome coverage like it always has. I think I'll be okay with paying $28 for something that will honestly last for 2 years.

2. Benefit's Hello Flawless Pressed Powder
I originally bought this when I bought the concealer.  It is by far my favorite powder. I think that it was $30 or something and it will last forever too.  It seems to go on very light, but if you need to build it up you can.

3. Benefit's Box O' Powder in Dallas
I know, I know, I know, another Benefit product (they're awesome products what can I say???) This bronzer is gorgeous! To me it isn't too muddy or orange. It does make you look like you have a natural glow...as long as you know how to apply bronzer...
4. Benefit's Porefessional
This primer type product it a pore minimizer. I bought it because I heard that it was a really good primer, and it is. The only thing that I could see being a problem is that it smells flowery and it is kind of expensive.  I feel like you can get better primers for a better price, but with that said I do love it.
5. My Viva Glam MAC Lipsticks
MAC Cosmetics has this really cool line of lipsticks called Viva Glam.  They get celebrities to endorse the lipstick and the all of the proceeds goes towards AIDs research. The last campaign had Cindy Lauper and Lady Gaga. Cindy's color is a coral red and Lady Gaga's is a baby pink.  I bought the Cindy because it looked better on me, but I really wish I would have bought Gaga's color too.  The current campaign is Lady Gaga's second one and it's a very nude taupe color.  I actually have that one but I layer it with NYX pink color.  The other one that I have is Pamela Anderson's color.

6. Rimmel London's Face Primer
This primer is like $7 (maybe) and one of the best primers that I've ever used...and I've tried several. I like that it's kind of tinted.  A lot of times I can get away with just wearing that, some concealer, and blush as face makeup.
7. Maybelline Volum' Express One by One Mascara
The first time that I saw this mascara was in a magazine. Then I started seeing it on TV and it seemed like everywhere else.  I decided to look up some reviews on it and I saw that it had awesome reviews, so I decided to buy it. I have to say that it is one of my most favorite mascaras that I have ever tried! It may not make your lashes look like the ones in the pictures (those are obviously false lashes...unless the girl in the ads i a freak of nature with butterflies sitting on her eyelids), but it does separate and volumize as it says it will.
8. Monistat Chafing Gel
Alright, I'm guessing right about now you may be going "hold up! WAY too much information," but I'm not using it for what you think I'm using it for.  Monistat Chafing Gel makes a magnificent face primer.  There are tons of reviews that compare it to Smashbox's Photofinish primer.  Some of those reviews would actually rather use the chafing gel than Smashbox's primer.  If it's just as good why spend $40 when you can spend like $6? I can say that I have tried both and I do think that the chafing gel is comparable to Smashbox's Photofinish primer. The reason Monistat's chafing gel works so well is because it contains dimethicone.  Dimethicone is a silicone based emollient that helps create a barrier on your skin which helps smooth it out. Dimethicone is found in almost all high end face primers. Like I said it's $6, don't be embarrassed, just buy the stuff!

9. Tresemme's Color Revitalize Conditioner
I first tried this conditioner when I went home last time. My aunt had some in her shower so I decided to try it.  My hair was so smooth after using it. I bleached the bottom part of my hair last year and it is really damaged. When I use that conditioner I can not wash my hair for three days and it will be just as smooth as it was the first day. I highly recommend this product for everyone.
10. OPI-Russian Navy
Last but definitely not least is my favorite nail color.  It's Russian Navy by OPI.  Russian Navy is this dark blue, almost black, color that has purple it in.  It is so beautiful!

These are just some of my favorite things.  I love makeup and beauty supplies.  This doesn't even touch my supply of stuff! Remember, I have a whole tackle box full of makeup and in addition to that tackle box I have my makeup bag that has my most used items in it. I love these products and I suggest that you try any of them!!!

XOXO,
VK
