Things That I Would Love To Have

I live in an apartment that I can only do limited things in, well so I thought. I can't paint, which is annoying because everything that you read about decorating on a budget is paint paint paint paint! So what about those of us that can't paint our apartments? Well you obviously have to do something else. Here are a few things that are on my "to do list" for the apartment.
The picture above is a chandelier made out of things that a man found. It was a way of "upcycling" if you will. I absolutely love it. It looks fun and unique and on top of it all CHEAP! I mean it is found out of items that were found just lying on the ground. The con about this project it that it will take forever.
The picture below is plate that someone just bought at a thrift store and then they laid stencils on the picture and spray painted them. I feel like it would be perfect in a kitchen, a dining room, or in a breakfast nook.

The next picture was found on Martha Stewart's website. It's made out of two book cases and a lot of work. Compared to buying a nice desk in the store this is relativity cheap. You can find very plain bookcases at Walmart for $20. I estimate for the very basic desk without painting and buying the shelf organizers the project would cost roughly $50 to $60. The only other thing you would need besides the bookcases would be 5 hinges and a piece of plywood for the actual desk part. You would of course want to sand everything down and paint it.

Okay the next picture is self-explanatory...I WANT A DISCO BALL!
This one is also cheap too. You can buy the lantern for like $2.00 online and you can find the flowers and paint at Hobby Lobby or Micheals for like $2.00. It's so adorable...it must be okay my boyfriend is okay with me hanging this up in the apartment...which is a rarity.

I really can't wait to finish these projects!
